House Renovation

There have been many things going on and I have not been good about blogging. I plan on spending some time this week doing a little blogging and sharing some of the experiences of the past weeks. But just a quick update. We are renovating our kitchen. We have put in granite countertops. They really look nice. I took a picture. I don't know how well it will show them, but I really like them.

We are going to raise the ceiling in the kitchen and put in can lights. So right now we have no ceiling in our kitchen. It looks great as you can see.

While we have no ceiling, the weather decided to get very cold in Texas. It was 19 degrees this morning so we huddle in our bedroom with a space heater since the opening to the attic allows much cold in the house. But we think it will be fun when it is done.
